The standard on the Dutch side is 110 V, 60 Hz, so in general, no converters or adaptors are required for appliances made for use in the US or Canada. However, a few hotels operate on 220 V, 50 cycles, which is the standard on the French side. French plug converters and transformers may be required. It is best to confirm with your hotel in advance to determine if you will need a converter or an adapter.
